*Grown-ish* levels of “young whipper snapper” dialogue and conflict introduction. I wish the plot moved slightly slower in certain aspects. Like when the perfect find succeeded. She put so much effort into trying to find a successful idea, and in one single paragraph virality and mind blowing successful just happened. There was no development of this success, Tia Williams just told us it happened. Booo.

I’m also getting sick and tired of the carlita shade. It’s now extended to just an unrealistic stereotype “hood chicks” in general.
