Had to take a break from JP because his own depressive catastrophization was too much of a bias. This last chapter feels like GM is doing the same, his own catastrophization is getting in the way of his really good ideas (imo)

Similar point to Jordan Peterson on addiction. GM basically saying there’s pain/trauma underlying every addiction. JP saying life is painful it’s a wonder we’re not all addicts

If you’re ever interested in loneliness as a health concept there’s a cool graphic nonfiction book called Seek You that I’d highly recommend!!!
