Omg Riley please discuss in the next episode of turtle time. I am 15% in and kinda dragging but I need to get through this for Feb book club

I was so tired of the speculative future plot. But then I decided to give it one more chance and the second half is amazing. If you like the immortal dinner aspect of it, I would definitely say keep going. I thought the entire second half was beautiful and I finished it in two days. Let me know what you think! Also - is this your first Ian McEwan novel?
