Pg 115- With difficult decisions think aloud

Pg. 73 - “flatus, fluid, feces, foreign body and fetus feel better out than in” - Dr stone talking about the crowning baby

Pg 76 - “a fool with a tool is still a fool” matron talking about Dr Stone allowing his instruments to do the thinking for him

Sound nursing sense also means you know you’re limit, Matron didn’t yell at Dr Stone saying “she needs a c-section” she just said “dr stone, your pt” to sort of ground him bc she understands yelling at him will do the opposite

Sound nursing sense - only knowledge enhances it, it’s like sailer at sea in a seaworthy vessel but without map, sextant, or compass
