This is such an amazing book. The mystery is tantalizing and Effy’s story is heartbreaking.

Oh gosh, this book is so good. I wish I could just curl up and finish it in one go.

The amount of superstition mixed with academia is quite beautiful. I feel for Effy, she hasn’t had it easy, but she’s doing something for herself, to prove herself.

It’s funny that I’m finally reading this after starting I started it a week ago x.x To be fair, the winter storm threw off my routines making it hard to concentrate.
Regardless, I like how this has started. There is a bleakness to it that gives off dark academia vibes mixed with the unknown anxiety of the protagonist.
