There is a lot of "you should this" "you should that" but the book doesn't tell you why or how.
Another thing that I find confusing is an emphasis on rationality - which is the topic of November, but what for? Emotions at least serve a purpose for the most part, but what is the purpose of rationality? I'm not convinced that that is going to get most people what they need.

July chapters are all about seduction.
It’s not hard to imagine how effective these“laws” are. For example, playing hard to get is not at all a new concept. If you’re planning on a transactional relationship (eg, hooking up, networking), this chapter might actually be helpful.
However, if you’re planning on creating a connection, these advice can be seen as manipulative and insincere.
