Would be curious to hear your thoughts so far!

The writing is obviously competent and immensely readable, I just haven't connected with any characters and the plot seems confused and fractured. I have heard that the story puts in a new gear in parts 4 and 5, so really hoping that I will get more invested. Have you read it? if so, what were your thoughts?

I read his By Night in Chile book and it had some moments that I really enjoyed but yeah wasn't sure if I could commit to this big book, haven't read it yet
