So far, I am amazed how some of the things that he naively notices are not that different than the way racists act today. 60 years later so many people still have hate in their heart for a skin color and it's really sad. I also liked this quote when talking about weirdos who gave him rides in Mississippi "this man seemed like he was the kind of person who knows a lot of important facts but no truths"
