How is this book?

Im finding it a bit slow (at least the beginning) as its explaining a lot of the characters for each chapter. I'm also finding the other book I am reading is interesting me more so this one is kinda on the back burner. I'm hoping its just a slow warm up because the book sounds interesting, and I've liked the other Sager books I've read.
