Not her mother doubling down and blaming the FMC for not telling her about her secret relationship with her business partner for more tbh a a year. Why isn’t the mother’s neglect and selfishness and jumping from relationship to relationship, unable to hold a steady job and parentifying the fmc not being addressed and acknowledged for being the reason why the FMC is the way she is????

Her mother is a hypocrite—she was a selfish neglectful mother for most of the FMC’s life resulting in trauma that made the FMC the way she is (rigid and constantly needing routines and control) but is acting like the FMC is the problem when she speaks up about what a bad idea it is for her mother to get involved with her business partner given her track record with relationships & how it led to her neglect of FMC
