I started crying when Brian shared how unbeknownst to him, God was moving in Brian's life and putting Christians in his life to share about God, pray for Brian, but also not being judgmental or pushy. They would be there if/when Brian was ready to have a conversation and want to learn or hear more, just like God.

I take issue with addicts calling alcoholism a "disease" or "a disease that runs in my family", OR is it more likely that this is a learned, either by family or societal exposure learned and falsely glorified maladaptive coping mechanism?
