Wowwwww. This is so incredible. There are many horrible people involved in war but also so many honorable people, on both sides.

This is hard to listen to. WW2 truly was horrible. War is horrible.

Oh I can’t listen to this part without cringing. The feeling of being trapped would make me panic.

Hard to remember that “the enemy” was us. American and Britain.

Really makes you realize that the Axis wasn’t a war full of bad Nazis. There were a lot of people fighting that had no love for the Nazi party.

10 hours of audiobook left at 1.8x speed. We’ll get through this.

Love the story but it’s not necessarily the most engaging on the edge of your seat kind of book 😁

BooksNCrannies 1.6x is fast enough for me. 😄 Lol.

Elisabeth (Bets) I often do but when there’s a book that I’m wanting to finish I work myself up to a higher speed 😂 I just slowly bump it up as I get used to the current speed.

Elisabeth (Bets) Meaning, I often do keep it at slower speeds. Got distracted halfway through typing that.

My normal speed is 1.5-1.75.

1.3 on some audiobooks if I’m not necessarily in a hurry and I enjoy the reader.

BooksNCrannies Relatable. 😁 I started out on regular speed with my audiobook and then kept bumping it up.

BooksNCrannies The most comfortable speed for me is 1.25x.

Elisabeth (Bets) I would say 1.2-1.3 is the absolute most comfortable to me. Depending on the speed of the reader. I listen to podcasts and stuff at this speed too.

But it just takes so long sometimes so that’s why I usually end up listening to audiobooks at a minimum of 1.5 😂

✧Bella✧ I literally CAN'T listen to audiobooks on normal speed
