Okay. So I’ve only read the introduction and WOW this man is an artist as well as a scholar. He is SO painfully aware of how stiff and factual books like this can be, and at first, I misjudged him for being just that and bemoaning that he wasn’t enchanting me. But man. Two pages in an he’s slinging a Michael Angelo style brush in this book. I have to put the line that made me slam the book close and—
