Okay. So I’ve only read the introduction and WOW this man is an artist as well as a scholar. He is SO painfully aware of how stiff and factual books like this can be, and at first, I misjudged him for being just that and bemoaning that he wasn’t enchanting me. But man. Two pages in an he’s slinging a Michael Angelo style brush in this book. I have to put the line that made me slam the book close and—

BABY LIKE WHAT???!? I’m in awe and it’s giving Peter S. Beagle. Which is perfect because I’m still reading The Last Unicorn so now I have TWO Unicorn books to devour 🤤. Okay I’m being weird. I just love enjoying books. Okay bye.
