It got better

The book is undermining predatory relationships. A lot of Waldo’s issues are because of her mom’s behavior with men, not because of Mr. Korgy manipulating a teenager. She already has that frame of thinking and doesn’t develop it bc of him. I think thats a big disservice to the topic because we already place too much blame on women instead of holding men accountable for their predatory and patriarchal actions.
