I genuinely appreciate how each chapter ends in a way that wants you to keep turning the pages.

Emmy & Teddy’s friendship reminds me an awful lot of friendships that I have within my own life. Even though they have significant others that they love with their whole hearts, they have each other as soulmates, the best of friends til the end of time.

I will say…I have shed so many tears over the past 29 pages that it’s not even funny.

I just finished chapter 18 and it got me right in the feels.
The way that Gus spoke about his daughter the day that she was born was the way that I felt, it’s a love like no other. Seeing your significant other also fall in love with your new baby is just something that you will always cherish. It’s beautiful.
The way that Teddy wasn’t sure if she wanted children and now does, I was the same way before.

The beginning really choked me up with Teddy and her feeling lost within her life. When others around you are moving on in the directions that they are meant to go and you’re just stuck in what feels like limbo.
The tension between her and Gus is getting so good though!
