I have a problem with this book which is how grey and boring the world is around them. Especially coming from the climactic Halflings Gem.
We have been held underground for what feels like weeks (good god because reading the never-ending fight scenes feel like weeks) and there is no discernible description I can give you about these caves. This also makes Wulfgars fate all the more unceremonious and lame.
