I stopped reading this book not because I do not think believers are manipulated by their respective religions, but because I disagreed with some of the authors presuppositions, like evolution needing a teleological component. What are we evolving to and how would we be able to investigate it by naturalistic means? There were probably two or three others, so I decided to stop reading the book on page 36 after coming across his comment on evolution.
