I highly recommend this one if you love women’s historical fiction inspired by true events! Martha Ballard’s story is moving in its own right, but this story does so much more to showcase the power of women’s bodies, rights, and voices. The events in this book had me raging in heartache for some of these women and crying triumphant tears for others. Please check trigger warnings. 5🌟
