how are you finding it? i was soo confused in the first couple chapters

Archana wrote: "how are you finding it? i was soo confused in the first couple chapters"definitely takes a while to get into it! also doesn't help that quite a lot of the story is told indirectly, through an external POV. i am about 10 chapters in now and the dynamics between characters are clearer, so i am enjoying it more. still reading very slowly though. and using a website with translations for joseph's dialect (can send link on ig if you want, very useful!) and i still couldn't tell you if hindley and mr. earnshaw are supposed to be the same people (i thought he died???)
i had kinda given up on joseph but i dont mind the translation! but yes, im on the seventh chapter and now and i am able to follow better. re: hindley/earnshaw, i think hindley is the new mr.earnshaw after his dad mr.earnshaw died - i could be wrong and might find out 5 chapters later who knows
