In pages 5 to 20, Changez meets an American and starts telling his life story. He keeps talking without letting the American speak. I think this is cool because it makes the story feel tense and makes you wonder if the American is safe.

Chapter one is about a man named Changez talking to an American in Pakistan. He sounds calm but also kind of intense. I think it s interesting because it feels mysterious and a little uncomfortable, like something important is about to happen.

I think the ending is scary and confusing on purpose. It makes you feel nervous because you don’t know what will happen next. This helps the reader understand how Changez feels, always being judged and watched, even when he might not be doing anything wrong.

In the last part of the book, I think Changez finally accepts who he is. He stops trying to impress Americans and decides to be proud of where he comes from. This shows that he has grown and learned to stand up for himself.

I think the author wants us to think about how we judge people. The American man seems dangerous, but we don’t know the truth. The ending teaches that fear can make people misunderstand each other and create problems that might not need to happen.

In these pages, I think Mohsin Hamid does a good job showing Changez ’s inner conflict. Changez is no longer trying to fit in, and he accepts who he is and where he comes from. Thiss section made me feel that the book is really about identity and how events can change a person deeply.

Pages 91 to 120 of The Reluctant Fundamentalist feel very tense and emotional. Changez becomes more distant from America and starts to see how the U.S. treats other countries unfairly. I think this part shows how confused and hurt he is, especially after losing his job and his sense of belonging.
