I got pinto it at about half way through. I enjoy the writing style and I like the main plot line, the problem with the story is the world building. It’s very confusing because it’s an entirely new world with a magic, and social system that is not well explained. The characters are interesting and I love the banter between the fmc and mmc. I hope in the next book the world building aspect is improved on.

Im struggling with understanding how this world works. The world building is nonexistent, it’s like we were dropped into the story in this world we no nothing about and it is very confusing. I dnf like George rr Martin kills off characters, but I’m pushing through because I do enjoy the writing and the story has me intrigued but I’m hanging on by a thread.
