I am loving this book. Written for children? Wow I wonder how many children would read it now. The language, the descriptions are sophisticated and lyrical. I especially love how she inserts observations of nature into every scene. The description of the fighting scenes are the best I've ever read. This from a woman who spent most of her life in a wheelchair. Profound insights into human nature.
