This book absolutely crushed me. It’s had quite a bit of negative feedback on here, however I found it to be an extremely poignant meditation on loneliness, trauma, and grief. It also pushes the reader to think carefully about the ways in which we may pity the protagonist, or not. Overall, I thought it was well constructed and extremely moving.
