Such a beautiful book. The ending had me shedding a tear. It broke me that they spent their entire lives apart because of circumstances out of their control. There was something so heartbreaking about how close they were to happiness, only for life to pull them in different directions.
Bahmans mother!! Don’t even get me started. The fact that her interference echoes across decades? Absolutely unforgivable.
