List of traumas the main character has already experienced and I’m only 1/4 of the way through:
• emotional and sexual abuse when he is 15
• accidentally kills a man at same age or so. Ok so this is technically a bad thing he does to someone else but it’s a result of bullet point number one up there
• experiences war in the armed forces, then comes back and has no way to integrate
