Awesome depiction of the contents of the cave you can tell lovecraft did his homework on ancient biology and evolution…
The double page spreads are super cool and the mountain drawings are a highlight.
The weird star headed creatures are interesting too I wonder what will become of them.

I like how this story makes the Antarctic seem mysterious as it must have once been. Now all that comes to mind (similarly to cooks idea of the continent) is that it contains nothing but ice.
