This part with Pyotr and Dmitri is so freaking funny

Haven't been reading cause I don't want this to end. I'm at 51% and I already can tell this is an absolute top 2 all time favorite. This is extraordinary.

“The mines? The gold‐mines?” Mitya shouted at the top of his voice and went off into a roar of laughter. “Would you like to go to the mines, Perhotin? There’s a lady here who’ll stump up three thousand for you, if only you’ll go. She did it for me, she’s so awfully fond of gold‐mines. Do you know Madame Hohlakov?”

Dmitri is so funny and sassy, I actually went into a roar of laughter as well.

I feel as though I've breezed through the first 30 or so percent of the book, but right now literally every two or three pages there is a sentence so profound, so touching, so, even life changing, that I have to keep stopping, let it sit with me, admire it, just go through it.

Ivan is the single character I’ve ever found the deepest reflection of myself in. I have never identified with a character more than I have with Ivan.

I have been stuck rereading the conversation between Alyosha and Ivan for so long. That is so wonderful. So wonderful, but not just 'wonderful'; it's much more, it's out of this world. It touches your heart so so deeply.
