What did you learn?

i did 90% of that reading on wednesday so truthfully i don’t remember a lot. there was a very long section about various cultures and their death rituals/attitudes around death like how in some african cultures many family members will have the same name. but after someone with that name dies the still alive person will get a new death name because they believe it’s bad to say the dead persons name aloud. i also learned about precious time periods and how death was dealt with like during the cave times and the middle ages and such. even cave men often buried their loved ones with belongings which indicates that they believed in an after life and would need things with them on the other side
