Pretty depressing stuff! I like the descriptions of stifling FL heat. Stories of homelessness and poverty in Florida heat pull at my heartstrings and remind me of the kids in the extended stay hotels my dad worked w but ultimately don’t feel like they are much more than descriptions of intense poverty. I think the stories of women dealing w isolation, men and natural disaster feel much more fleshed out
