I may not be able to finish this book. Anyone who has never experienced or fails to comprehend gaslighting should read this. The internal conversations and rationalizations are frighteningly accurate. Those who have experienced it may find this to be triggering - at least I am. Throw in the emotionally unavailable mother and it feels like the author has been observing my life in a wholly uncomfortable way.
