Although the book looks like a biography, I like the lucid way in which it has started off. The beauty of the style of writing is that any reader would identify with the family the author is talking about. Subtly, the reader is reminded of the value system of his/her own family and is unknowingly starting taking review of his/her own family value system as the reading progresses.
