On page 94, why did Oliver even ask if he could take the carriage when Jane already took the horse. Unless they have multiple horses or like a dedicated carriage horse that must not be ridden (??) then this makes no sense…and if they did (have multiple horses) why did Mrs Bennet make him walk there, is she just evil? I don’t think horseless carriages were very common back then, and it would be strange if they would own one since I assume they’d be much more expensive than horse drawn carriages. This is perturbing me.
