This is really quite interesting, I enjoy the Gothic vibes (think Rebecca) and the psychology of the characters and the slight symbolism every now and then. I have heard some people didn't like the ending. I really hope it's not the narrator getting together with Effingham as he is one of the least likable characters I have ever read.
