This is a weird book … I mean it’s a book not an impulsive post so I imagine he reread it he thought about it and yet I don’t understand the purpose. Is to let out his anger and frustration or to tell the lucky ones on this planet that don’t live in war how bad we are that we don’t more to reduce suffering. I mean we know this right and unfortunately the world and life isn’t to binary and easy

Not sure anymore about this one … it’s hard to follow and the whole tone is just, can’t really say, sad and angry. I do feel he misses some perspectives: 1. Demonstrations are not the only form of resistance but sure the loudest. Saying just because people don’t demonstrate they are indifferent is missing so much perspective.

When foreigners/expats move to other countries and stay within their group it’s accepted and tolerated. Why? I guess because of their economic value? When immigrants don’t learn the local language and integrate they are highly criticized
