Didn’t love the ending of the first book was hoping for a different outcome with the beginning of this one. None of the characters really stand out to me and Jessie isn’t my favorite. Hopefully it gets more interesting and the plot thickens. I never thought I would say this but I wish there was less smug and more plot and character development.
