We got a Sigzil book and possible future storyline… zero complaints. This was emotional and fun. Can’t wait to learn more about the Night Brigade. Was fun to see how power scales worked with the Cinder King to Sigzil/Nomad/Zellion to the Scadrial scientists to the night brigade. I don’t know how Sanderson keeps it all together.

I was a bit thrown off by the start of this story. Sanderson just throws you right into the action and because his magic systems and planets are so detailed and thought out sometimes it can be overwhelming. I had trouble following a lot of the early action sequences. Once things slowed down at Beacon it got better. And once Wit showed up it settled in completely.
