I would read an entire novel on that archmage guy. Otherwise this reminded me of the Ava Reid book but with queer characters

Kelley Armstrong’s story had great commentary on who is actually a monster but beyond that- it was fine

Suri's was so short and I don't know- i was bored and could not wait for it to be over. It also felt like nothing happened.

Kelley Armstrong's short story is the best in the bunch so far: long enough to give a good plot and sufficient pining of the main characters as well as an interesting fantasy aspect. Wish we got a bit more details on that but honestly, it's fine because she utilized those 56 pages well

M. Marr's story: VERY short and to the point. I have nothing to say honestly

Olivie definitely is not a short story writer, she needs more time to really get into her characters and usually this isn’t a problem since it’s dark academia short stories that I’ve read from her before and those are typically pretentious but that didn’t work here and it made it really difficult to read.
