It starts wofking out better for zoe after a few disasters. Furst she crashes the book van which ends up with her finding a good spot by the visitors centre. Then mary the daughter she looks after has a mishap where she ends up in hospital. Then she bonds more with mary and takes her to inverness clothes shopping.

The follow up to happy ever afters. Nina still lives in scotland with her farmer. Her friend surinder phones to say her brothers ex and child are to b made homeless. Nina finds out theres a job with accomodation near her working for anither farmer whos wife left him with the 3 kis. So zoe heads up to scotland with her 4 year old son hari to start a new life.
