Shit, I really should’ve read this before writing sunday every week. It’s giving me so much perspective. That said, the middle dragged a lot—would not stop talking about sex. Like, I get it. Can we move on instead of repeating the same thing on every page?

I wish I had picked this up earlier—it would have given me so much perspective on Rabab and her mother’s relationship while I was working on my own book. Since one of the core conflicts I explored was that mother–daughter dynamic, this would have been an invaluable reference.
