I’m struggling SO much with this book as it is most definitely not the stunning work of literary art Pilgrim’s Progress was. Page 117 gave me my first pause to consider the idea presented (“I have perverted justice when I should have performed it.”)
I am wondering if perhaps the issue is a bad translation, but not convinced that is its only issue. 200 pages to go!
