This asshole really said, I have to fuck another woman because of racism...what is happening? All this book is doing is making me hate WEB DuBois. Like, this is...how does this have a 4 star rating? I already missed January book club but I dont think I can do another 12 hours of this.

But the author makes her seem so weak willed and obsessed with a man who treats her like an inferior. Unfortunately, this is one of two books I'm reading where the female main character is centering a shitty guy. Not my favorite story vibe.
