It’s like an ode to letter writing. I love how in so many places she romanticizes it, and how the letters are inextricably linked to who she is (and she is conscious of this). It’s the timeline of her life and major events told through a series of letters. The other thing I find most endearing is the reference to various books and authors. I want to make a note of them all and read them!
