God, I can’t actually stand her dialogue. It’s so like, basic and trite. Good god. I don’t think I’ll ever read a book of Oprah’s List again

While her story is interesting and worth telling, I find a lot of her dialogue between her and others sounds cookie cutter and trite. Like, it’s not how people speak in real life. Sometimes, I kind of wonder how books make it onto Oprah’s Book club when the author can’t seem to actually write well. Again, nothing about her story or her own experiences- those are fine.
