@Jonathan (wait f**k how do I @ people on Goodreads or is it not possible) it's just that the story had a cool twist - I had been expecting some kind of twist, but not the one that actually happened. also this is an intermediate language textbook so I am not exactly reading the stories for their quality :') most are good though. but the Borges story was noticeably Better
i see! (gr is a mess) it's been half a lifetime since i read borges and naturally i remember nothing so your thoughts on his writing are especially interesting
