There are two storylines here, past and present, which make it a little tricky. There's also some discrepancies here with Thrawn - in the first of the series, he didn't speak Basic very well, but apparently he was fluid back in the Clone Wars when alongside Anakin...

Still not seeing the plot here. It's shaping up to be a weak ending unless something drastic happens. For some reason, Thrawn has taken a back seat in this book - it's all about Vader.
