My thirst for a GOOD book needs to be quenched immediately, or I’m about to start writing the one I want to read out of pure spite. Because why have most of the books I’ve picked up these past couple of years been emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually offensive? I do not have the time, patience, or emotional resilience to read hundreds of flops just to find one win 🙏😔🙏😔

I think you’re right about the genre switch. I keep reaching for romance, even though I own books from other genres. Maybe it’s time I actually read them 😭🙏😭🙏
