Jesus Christ, he’s really talking out of his ass with this triad stuff and keeps beating a dead horse with the same analogies of 3 making a 4th, or 2 making a 3rd. Then he gets into tarot and I want to blow my brains out at this bullshit. Too much conjecture and coming from no expertise just makes this read like some boomer Facebook user started believing ads and propaganda.

Epilogue really showed how quickly he could wander off topic and come back to haphazardly piece it together. The story of the scientist who could see Jupiter’s moons unaided witnessing something pass over him was trying to show credibility but it proved nothing. No evidence, just stories that then tie together to promote peace and understanding and listen to experiencers. Polygraph also lackluster and useless.

The group conversation fizzles and now he’s taking about triangles, the trinity, the triad. He only had the triangular probe and the symbols on his arm, so I think they’re blowing triangles out of proportion.

The transcript from the NY support group conversation, The Hidden Choir, is interesting as many opinions are given and everyone is different. As Budd Hopkins is the leader, I wonder if these are the same people, w/ aliases, that appear in the “missing time” segment of Unsolved Mysteries. I’ll have to watch again!

End of pt6 is more speculation and introduces succubi, incubi, angels, & demons. Bunch of ancient aliens malarkey.

Part 6 is some of the best parts of this book as it’s drawing on the known literature from researching the topic. Finally no uninformed conjecture but actual, referential information to illustrate points.

His son’s voice really doesn’t sound anything like a normal 7yr old. The way he talks, vocab, and picking out a haiku book and saying the thin ones are haikus just sounds fabricated. Meanwhile he can’t really describe many encounters yet he says difficult haikus have so many pictures. I don’t buy that part at all.

Anne’s hypnosis still leads to denials and blocks but there was an instance of just her and their son and something happening w/o Whitley that they know of only because of son’s journal entries. Whitley admits the soothing female voice may just be his wife fitting that comfort role. She admits to hearing him scream out of character so she can’t believe it’s a real memory. Good stuff!

More ramblings and musings on conjuration and magic with more questions than details. Designing the book cover was mildly interesting but his detailed manipulation of the woman’s body to describe her seems too vivid to be a real being. I like Anne’s hypnosis notes so far as she’s more grounded and has blocked out a lot of what happened and is out of the loop on Whitley’s breakthroughs.

The praying mantis alien was super creepy in its description and how even though he was hit in the head w/ a silver nail, the thing through his hair calmed him.

Whitley and Anne seem like the most troublesome people to be friends with. So dramatic, always moving & running away. Countless missing time episodes and more visitations/abductions. If any part of this is true, I feel bad for them, but it’s kind of hard to believe the amount of encounters has exponentially grown after a couple hypnosis sessions unlocking the past.
