The first act had a lot of potential - FMC seemed strong, trained her whole life but honestly, pretty entitled. Second act, she makes dumb decisions (what women doesn’t think out every angle before committing to chase some prince down to avenge her family). She gets herself capture - of course she does, so now we can do forced marriage trope. I’m fairly annoyed with this turn of the book and I want to dnf
