man you know you're getting old when you're looking at someone like "lorian nod" and your first thought is "hmmm love interest material" lol

see this is already way more engaging than the first bane novel. even though i did enjoy the first like third of the bane book it just...dragged. a lot. this is already just punchy and fun.
