Ok halfway point thoughts
1) sometimes I can tell someone from the 21st century is writing chapters set in the 1940s…
2) but that doesn’t affect how well written the book is though! I’ve read a lot of WWII historical fiction and this one has done the best job of really putting me in the situations that the characters are in
